Devil Or Not

““Possessed, Susan,Possessed.”
“By what? The devil?”
“Yeah. That’s what I’m saying. He’s really been messing with my head.”
“You believe in that stuff? There’s no such thing as the devil, you silly goose”.
“Yeah? Then how do you explain the way I’ve been acting? I’m not like that. That’s not me.”
“I’ll tell you how I see things, sweetie. You’ve just been through some tough times. You’re very sensitive and you’re reacting to those events.”
“Bullshit! I’ve been through tough times before. And I didn’t say or do the kinds of things I’m doing now.”
They sat there in silence for more than a little while.
“You know I love you like you were my little brother.”
With those words, Susan got out of her chair and sat herself down on the sofa, next to Daniel. She took his right hand and held it between hers, and set them upon her thigh.
“What are you doing?”
“Just trying to offer you a little comfort. Things aren’t as bad as you think.”
“You saw what I did to Brian the other day? I mean, if the guys didn’t hold me back, I would’ve killed him.”
“But you didn’t. And I don’t think you would’ve hit him even if you could have.”
“You’re wrong, Susan, dead wrong. And it wasn’t just that. I tore into him with what I said. I mean I know I made him feel like a worthless piece of shit.”
“Well, it wasn’t pretty, but you weren’t as horrible as you probably think you were. You have this tendency of being real hard on yourself.”
They had known each other for nearly ten years. And although she was only two tears older than him, during one’s youth the gap always seems much greater.
But now that Daniel was a sophomore in college, Susan felt herself looking at him from a different perspective. She found herself strangely attracted to him, to say the least. This overly sensitive boy, who, when he was nine used to shoot spitballs at her through a straw, she now found for the most part irresistible.
For him, till this day, Daniel never looked at Susan in any form of sexual way. She was his good friend, a girl that he found very easy opening up to. And although he did find her attractive, she just wasn’t his type. He could never see himself having any kind of serious romantic relationship with her.
But now, his hands resting between hers on her thigh, he felt himself sexually aroused. And when Daniel leaned in to kiss Susan, it was not long before she felt him thrusting, in what could only be described as animal fashion, deep within the recesses of both her body and soul.
