POLICE STATION HALLWAY - NIGHT Two detectives are dicussing Jake's bust in the hallway directly outside of Jake's room. The door is closed. DETECTIVE # 1 You believe him? DETECTIVE # 2 Yeah, I believe him. That's one sorry assed bastard. DETECTIVE # 1 Can anyone really be that stupid? Detective # 2 shrugs his shoulders.

The teenager turns back around and removes an envelope from his jacket pocket. He thrusts his hand holding the envelope through the open bullet proof window separating the back seats from the front. TEENAGER (CONTINUED) Take this, man. JAKE I don't know, son. The teenager drops the envelope in the front seat and slams the sliding bullet proof glass window shut. EXTERIOR STREET - NIGHT The police cars overtake Jake's taxicab, forming a V and forcing Jake to stop. Four policemen, guns drawn, approach the cab, the lead Policeman with a bullhorn in his hand.
