Andrew and his group of friends had long ago concluded that religion was at the root of the majority of the difficulties the world was facing at present. Not only that, but they believed that this rift in mankind has been causing problems for thousands of years. Their anthem was the John Lennon song, Imagine.

A Kiss From God
His mother was a very gentle soul, and took to the bottle very early in her marriage. Larry’s father used to abuse her both verbally and physically on a regular basis. When Larry, as a child, attempted to rescue his mother, his father’s wrath would immediately be redirected and unleashed upon him.
His mother committed suicide when Larry was twelve years old…..
He set about to prove the existence of God mathematically. This was to be his lifelong project, and it very soon became the uppermost priority in his life….”You know, if I died today, I would die being the happiest man on the face of the earth”, he said to me smiling, and lingered at the open window for a little while before he walked away.
